Prior to this position, she used to work as Chief Technology Officer of Telefónica Móviles Argentina SA for ten years. Folgueiras joined the Argentinean subsidiary of Telefónica in 1991 as Group Manager Fixed Network Planning to provide functional support to the Vice President Fixed Network Planning. She subsequently worked as Division Manager Network Planning and Vice President Planning.
