Michiel van Eldik is Managing Director Wholesale & Partnering at Telefónica Germany GmbH & Co. OHG. Before that, van Eldik has been working for the Telefónica Group in Madrid for many years and has held different positions during this time. As Group Director New Business & Innovation of Telefónica S.A., van Eldik was responsible for the establishment and management of new growth initiatives in areas such as E-Health, Security and Financial Services. In his role he was also responsible for the Telefónica Venture Capital Programme and Innovation Management.
Prior to this, the native Dutchman spent six years at Telefónica O2 in the UK, where he was responsible for managing the integration of O2 into Telefónica. Before joining Telefónica van Eldik worked for O2 plc, AirTouch, FirstMark and Siemens.
