MUNICH. Starting immediately, Telefónica Germany is now also offering a special smartphone tariff for prepaid. With the O2 o Prepaid for Smartphones, for 10 euros a month customers receive a flatrate for mobile surfing up to 300 MB at full speed. And as a special head-start they can surf for free for the first two months.
After that the data flatrate costs 10 euros per month and payment is conveniently made via the prepaid account. The package can be cancelled at any time within a month. The remaining tariff terms are identical to those of the O2 o Prepaid tariff: The more the customer tops up credit, the more free flatrates he gets. At 15 euros, for instance, the customer receives a one-month flatrate into the O2 mobile network for free. At 20 euros he gets two additional free flatrates and when topping up 30 euros it's even three flatrates. The SIM card for the new O2 o Prepaid for Smartphone tariff is not linked to the purchase of a mobile phone.
