In 2003, Telefónica Europe published a Corporate Responsibility Report for all O₂ countries in Europe. In 2004, there was already a dedicated section in German reporting on the commitment of Telefónica O₂ Germany. Since 2005, we have been producing an independent annual report based on the guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) that reports on our corporate responsibility in Germany.

We switched to the Internet as the primary communication channel for the issues of sustainability and corporate responsibility with the Corporate Responsibility Report 2007. This year's report is our third online report. Our parent company Telefónica S. A. also publishes an annual CR Report.
