Guide for your application

Why did we create this guide?

We know that it can be difficult to put together a solid application, and sometimes, applicants have no idea what recruiters are looking for. Each one has something different in mind, so here are a few of our tips to make your application effective.

ACCURACY – First impressions matter!

There is nothing quite as bad as opening an application and finding mistakes – or worse, an application meant for another company! Before you send your application off, make sure that:
-You have checked for any spelling mistakes
-Your contact information is up to date
-Your application is addressed to the right company
Here are a few dos and don’ts for you application:
-Use appropriate language.
-Do not use abbreviations.
-Make sure you have included all the information.

What makes a resume good?

Whether you are applying for your first job or your hundredth, it is important that you check your resume again and again and make any updates. So, what makes a resume good? Make sure that your resume is as clear and succinct as possible. Ideally, you should keep it no longer than 3 pages. Bullet points will help keep your resume short and to the point. By doing this, you can make it easier for the recruiter to quickly find the right information on your resume. Do not use big chunks of text.

What details should be included for each career move?

-Company name
-Job title
-Period of employment
-Your responsibilities (bullet points)
-Special achievements
-Optional: Management responsibility (number of people / euros)
