Telefónica O2 Germany with first TV spot

MUNICH/HANNOVER. Telefónica O2 Germany is accompanying its new business customer tariff O2 on with a creative advertising campaign. Special characteristic is the unusual focus on business customers. In addition to print media, the telecommunications provider is using a TV commercial for the first time also in the business sector. Tailored precisely to the target group, the commercial will be broadcast on news channels throughout March and April. The campaign will also be seen within the scope of 'out of home' measures, such as in ICE trains and at airports.
The content of the 25-second commercial developed by the agency Serviceplan is a 3D animated O2 business world. "The businessman sitting with his laptop in a meeting is precisely what we didn't want to show", explains André Schloemer, Vice-President Brand Management at Telefónica O2 Germany. "Instead, viewers will see a refreshingly different business world that perfectly portrays both the cleverness and the simplicity of our offers." In future, all the offers for business customers will be integrated into the O2 Business World. Coinciding with the television broadcast, O2 will be posting interactive online banners on websites that are particularly relevant for the target group. Both print ads and out-of-home motifs in business-customer-related environments will accompany the campaign. In keeping with the TV broadcast, O2 will also be launching a "3D image" of its business landscape on The O2 on tariff allows business customers to make unlimited telephone calls within German networks for € 29 net a month and permits mobile surfing on smartphones. An extra five euros net a month gives customers the O2 on upgrade with the additional offer of unlimited mobile Internet usage on their laptops.
