O2 highlights in the shape of new business communication

-Telecommunications provider launches its biggest sales drive yet
-Creative new technologies like light writing provide highlights
MUNICH/Germany. The new sales drive by Telefónica O2 Germany for the big discount campaign "15% off O2 bestsellers. Don't miss it" starts today. The company is entering into new territory with its supporting communication concept: the light writing and light tracing techniques used in the ads convey the company's message in no uncertain terms, employing the refreshingly different approach people are used to from O2.
The new O2 discount campaign gives customers the chance to buy bestsellers from the range 15 percent cheaper. The specially designed sales drive highlights the company's messages and offer quite literally, with creative lighting techniques like light writing, light tracing and video tracking putting the information in the spotlight. The highlights created in such a manner underline the appeal and speed of the sales offer. The campaign is the result of O2's cooperation with VCCP Berlin, Smartin Cologne, the film production company Partizan and a number of lighting artists. Tim Alexander, Head of Brand, Strategy & Communication at Telefónica O2 Germany, explains: "This discount campaign is the largest so far in O2's history. This also makes the trade campaign the biggest that O2 has launched in Germany. In addition, the new communication concept offers the ideal platform to get the campaign messages across. It does full justice to the competitive situation on the market." Running alongside the discount campaign will be four TV ads, two radio commercials and print ads. Other marketing measures are city light posters, billboards and poster pillars, as well as online advertising.
