Customer service in your pocket: O2 presents a new app for smartphones
MUNICH/Germany. Customer service via an app: Now, with the new "Mein O2" application, O2 customers have access anywhere and at all times to extensive functions related to their contract data and account statements. "Mein O2" can be downloaded for free from the Android AppStore. Palm and Apple will begin offering it over the coming days.
With the new application from Telefónica O2 Germany, customers can get a quick overview of all their mobile, data and DSL contracts with O2. Important changes or bookings can be made conveniently whilst on the go. Thanks to "Mein O2", account statements and individually itemised reports from the past six months are always at hand, regardless of where you are. O2 customers who have signed up for one of the mobile Internet packages can also now send the 50 free SMS that come with those packages directly from their smartphone via "Mein O2". Sent messages will be saved and the number of remaining free messages will be displayed. If an issue cannot be clarified immediately on the mobile phone, then the application will point the way to the next O2 Shop. The integrated shop finder displays the nearest three shops and directs the customer directly to them using route planning. It is also possible to search by address or postal code.
