New sounds at O2: simfy flatrate with more than eight million songs available from April
MUNICH. Telefónica O2 Germany introduces music to laptops, tablets and smartphones: Together with simfy, the leading music streaming provider in Germany, they're offering a new flatrate with access to more than eight million songs.
O2 is offering an extensive musical repertoire via simfy; from pop to indie, and metal to electro. After registering on the O2 website users are given access to more than eight million songs, which they can play via their browser, an installed player or an app on their smartphone. And what's more, users don't even need to download the songs first; they can listen to them instantly thanks to the cloud-based service. From April O2 customers can benefit from a low-cost premium package for just EUR 8.99 per month. They can also try the service free for the first month.
The monthly flatrate means that there's no fee per song, which can quickly become expensive. Users can easily create their own playlists and play them on any of their end devices. Time-consuming administration work is no longer necessary: Whether you use simfy on your computer or on your smartphone - all channels are automatically synchronised. So you can play any song you want, anywhere and at any time. With the smartphone app you can even access your songs offline wherever you are and without having to pay any additional connection fees. simfy software can be installed on PCs, iPhones, iPads and Android smartphones.
