Alice TV: Next generation television - for testing
MUNICH. Starting 23 June 2011 Telefónica Germany will replace the Alice Television Flatrate with Alice TV and will provide their customers with an easy entry into the next generation entertainment offering. There will be no more costs for buying and renting the hardware. All that needs paying now is a one-off activation fee of 20 euro. With the new packages Alice TV Basic and Alice TV Premium Telefónica remains the only telecommunications provider to offer IPTV without a minimum contract term. This gives the customer the opportunity to test the offer.
Both Alice TV Basic and Alice TV Premium can be combined with any current DSL- or Speed tariff from Alice. As usual, they include up to 65 free TV channels, access to pay TV packages and the Alice video library as well as to interactive TV services. Customers just pay 7.90 euro per month for the Alice TV Basic package, which includes the HD Media Receiver. The Alice TV Premium offer costs 11.90 euro per month. This offer includes an HD Media Recorder with a 160GB hard drive, which enables time-delayed TV viewing and recording in HD format. But also those who want to save money can make use of a better offering: Customers who sign a 24-month contract by the end of September do not have to pay an activation fee and receive the IPTV offer for free during the first three months.
