Starting 1 July 2012: O2 reduces hotline-price for all products

MUNICH. Telefónica Germany unifies the hotline costs for all O2 products and reduces the fees at the same time: From 1 July, the same price applies for customer-support via telephone for mobile phone and DSL. It doesn't even matter whether customers call from mobile or landline. Each call to the chargeable hotline will then only cost 20 cents.
This means much more transparency especially for DSL customers. They used to pay 14 cents per minute for the Alice hotline, but from 1 July on the price does not longer depend on the length of the call. O2 customers get better conditions as well as a call to the chargeable hotline was 30 cents so far. The existing numbers for O2 and Alice can still be reached for a transitional period up until 1 August, the new ones will apply from then on. The hotline can be reached via different service numbers:
