O2: Free wireless Internet access for business customers at 1,500 hotspots in Germany

MUNICH. Top speeds with no data limit: New O2 on Business customers can now use the O2 wireless Internet service at more than 1,500 hotspots across Germany free of charge.
Simply log in with your mobile phone number as your user ID and start surfing: Once you have been successfully authenticated for the wireless service, your smartphone or laptop will be automatically registered for all hotspots in Germany. The next time you find yourself near one of the wireless Internet access points, your device will automatically connect to the wireless network.
"Together with our partner The Cloud, we are offering business customers free access to our national wireless Internet network at central locations such as airports, train stations and hotels. Users only have to register online once for this service and there are no time, cost or data volume limits," says Johannes Pruchnow, Managing Director Business at Telefónica Germany. Business customers who sign up for any of the following tariffs by 31.01.2012 will receive free access to the O2 wireless network until 31.07.2012: O2 on Business, O2 on Business Upgrade, O2 on Business with mobile phone, O2 on Business Upgrade with mobile phone, O2 Laptop Flat, O2 Laptop Flat S.
