For business customers with O2 on and O2 on Upgrade:

Free landline number for your mobile phone

MUNICH. At Telefónica Germany, new customers with O2 on and O2 on Upgrade will now receive a free landline number where they can be reached on their mobile phone. Effective immediately, the "O2 on landline number" option constitutes a free part of those rates. Of course, you can also receive phone calls on your mobile phone number as well.
"The offer is especially worthwhile for self-employed people, freelancers and small businesses because they need to be easy to get in touch with anywhere and at all times," explains Johannes Pruchnow, Director of Business at Telefónica Germany. "With the free O2 on landline number option, those businesspeople can answer their customers' calls even when they're out and about, yet as if they were in the office. That's a crucial advantage for their business."
The O2 on landline number functions in a specified area of the O2 mobile network, which has a diameter of about two kilometres. With Telefónica Germany, each customer can decide where the area in which calls can be received via that number should be. It does not have to be only in the office. Anyone wishing to be reached on the O2 on landline number throughout Germany can forward incoming phone calls to a mobile phone number for only 5.99 euros a month. If this transfer option is not selected, the fee for transferring from the landline number will be 9 cents per minute. Further information is available at http://www.o2selbststaendige.de.
