New for business customers:Landline number abroad for O2 mobile phones

MUNICH. All O2 business customers can now sign up for the new option called "International landline number" for five euros net per month. That way, they will get an additional landline number from a country of their choice for their mobile phone.
Every incoming phone call will be forwarded for free to the German O2 mobile phone number and there will be no more costs apart from the monthly basic charge for the landline number. All callers pay only the local fixed-line fee and they won't even notice that the call is being forwarded. This offer is recommended particularly for business people that need to be available from abroad at an affordable price, and without having a branch office there. "Increasing globalisation means that smaller businesses today have important customers abroad as well," says Michiel van Eldik, Managing Director at Telefónica in Germany. "Anyone who is available by phone there at a fixed-network price can serve those customers much better, and therefore will have a decisive advantage in international competition."
Keeping control over costs while being abroad is an important focus this year at O2 Business. As a result, an additional offer related to that the business customer unit of Telefónica in Germany extended its tariff with the EU+ Travel Option.
