MUNICH. The mobile internet from Telefónica O2 Germany is coming alive with colour. From July 2009, O2 offers a colour edition of the O2 Surfstick. The Surfstick Colour is exclusively available from O2 in the trend colours silver, blue, orange, petrol and purple. It supports HSDPA and enables mobile data transmission at speeds of up to 3.6 Mbit/s.
O2 offers surfsticks for the mobile access to the internet in a chic and fresh design just in time for the summer. Customers can now surf the web spontaneously and easily from anywhere by using the O2 Surfstick Colour in their favourite colour. They get the O2 Surfstick Colour in one of five colours upon the conclusion of a contract in combination with the basic tariff O2 Active Data. Customers using the data flat rate Internet-Pack-L surf the mobile internet limitless for € 25 a month. The O2 Surfstick Colour can be very easily installed via plug and play. In addition, the surfstick is equipped with a MicroSD card slot and can be used as a memory medium as well. The O2 Surfstick Colour supports the operating systems Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows Vista as well as Mac OS 10.4 and 10.5.
