For the most performance-hungry user, the Power Upload with up to 1024 Kbits/s is now part of the O2 DSL Complete Premium Package. This option had previously been available for an extra charge of 2 euros per month. Other attractive included services of the O2 DSL Premium Package are the International Flat Rate-1 for free standard calls into the fixed network of 22 countries including the USA, the O2 Mobile Flat Rate for standard calls into the German O2 mobile network as well as the Family&Office Flat Rate that enables O2 mobile customers to make free calls between mobile phones and O2 DSL landlines with the same customer number.
O2 DSL is now also available in all German regions that have a general DSL coverage. The so-called Bitstream connection is available for an additional monthly regional charge of 5 euros. Customers will not need a line from Deutsche Telekom. The high quality of O2's DSL network was recently confirmed in an independent test of the trade magazine connect. In this test, O2 got the highest scores both for its telephony services and for the data transfer.
