O2:The new smartphone highlights have arrived

MUNICH. Telefónica O2 Germany presents the highlight models from this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Take the HTC Smart: the perfect way to start living in the smartphone world, or the HTC Desire, which is aimed at people who want their mobile phones to have the very latest features. Both models are available from O2 My Handy.
The HTC Smart, which O2 is marketing exclusively in Germany, is completely geared towards mobile communication with its freely adaptable user interface. It is equipped with HTC's own user interface: HTC Sense. It gives the HTC Smart user fast access to the internet, e-mail, contacts, photos, weather and much more in just a few clicks. A new application called HTC Friend Stream provides status information and updates from social networks like Facebook, Twitter and Flickr at a glance. Thanks to the touchscreen and HTC Friend Stream users are just a finger tap away from their friends, with the same ease as from the laptop or PC at home. The HTC Smart will be available from O2 My Handy from mid-May and costs a down payment of 1 euro and 24 monthly installments of 10 euros for a total price of 241 euros. The HTC Desire will fascinate smartphone fans and beginners alike. Its 9.4 cm (3.7") AMOLED display, the latest Version 2.1 of the Android operating system with HTC Sense interface and downloadable apps from the Android Market make the HTC Desire the ideal partner for using the mobile Internet. Fitted with a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor and 512 MB RAM, this model is exceptionally fast and multitasking-capable. It is available now from O2 My Handy for a down payment of 29 euros and 24 monthly installments of 20 euros, making a total price of 509 euros.
