O2 mobile and DSL:Clever combination of tariffs saves 10 euros a month

MUNICH/BARCELONA. Following the launch of Alice Home & Go, the Internet flat rate for the home and on the move, in January, Telefónica Germany presented a new offer at the Mobile World Congress 2012 that cleverly combines fixed-line and mobile telephony. From 1 March O2 mobile subscribers will save 10 euros every month when they take out an additional DSL subscription. Then, from 3 April, the offer also applies vice versa. From this date onwards, DSL customers will receive a permanent 10 euros discount on a mobile subscription as well.
"At the beginning of the year all fixed-line and mobile products were united under the O2 brand," says René Schuster, CEO of Telefónica Germany. "Our customers can now cleverly combine the products and even save money. With this we reward existing Alice DSL and O2 mobile customers for their loyalty and provide a very attractive combination of fix-net and mobile." As an example, the combo offer gives O2 mobile subscribers an Internet and fixed-line flat rate for just 19.99 euros a month when choosing the Alice M option. Customers who sign up for a fixed-term DSL contract can save even more. Then the rate is just 9.99 euros for the first three months.
