Unlimited gaming:O2 brings first games flat rate to smartphones
MUNICH. Good prospects for gamers: As of January 24, Telefónica Germany brings the first games flat rate for O2 customers to smartphones and tablets. EA (Electronic Arts), one of the largest games providers, will ensure a varied offering. For EUR 4.99 per month, subscribers can download and play as many games as they want. A large selection of popular full versions, such as FIFA and The Sims, will be available to choose from. During the first month, O2 customers can test the flat rate without obligation. The flat rate can be added to all O2 mobile tariffs.
Smartphones and tablets are becoming an increasing part of our lives and are now also the new mobile gaming consoles. With the new EA Games Flatrate, O2 customers can now give free rein to their play instinct, and all at a fixed rate. One special benefit is that the games are also available offline once they have been downloaded, as long as the subscription is active. A mobile tariff with data volume and an Android-based or Java-capable smartphone or tablet is all that is needed to start enjoying games. With a Multicard customers can even use the flat rate on all of their mobile devices. The flat rate can be cancelled on a monthly basis. The minimum term is one month. It can be taken out in all O2 shops, online and via the hotline. Further information (as of January 24) is available at: http://www.o2online.de/goto/ea
