First partner campaign with iPhone 6: New opportunities that inspire

What to do when your child won’t sleep? The father in the TV clip of the O2 campaign needs a quick solution for his son’s sleeping problems. The mother is not at home – and yet, a clever idea helps her to be there for her family at home: Using her iPhone 6, she takes a slow-motion video in 240 frames per second of a flock of sheep jumping around in a field. This is made possible by the technology of the new Apple smartphone. Via the high-speed 4G network from O2, she sends the video home and onto Dad’s smartphone in next to nothing. This way, she provides her husband with a sensational slow-motion source for his son to count sheep.
Munich | The best ideas are brought about by new opportunities. In the first partner campaign with iPhone 6 in Germany, O2 depicts what these ideas might be. The corresponding television commercial features a mother who is inspired by her iPhone 6 and the fast 4G internet from O2 to come up with a particularly creative sleeping aid for her son.

“The aim of our TV campaign is to show our customers how they can creatively apply our digital means to make their every-day lives easier,” says Peter Rampling, Managing Director B2C at Telefónica in Germany. “All they need is an iPhone 6, a fast 4G connection from O2 and a matching tariff – the inspiration will follow by itself.” After all, the right technology can inspire ideas that will turn even a sleeping-aid classic into a state-of-the-art bed-time story. You can watch the video online at o2.de/youcando and on television from 17th November. Marking the start of the campaign, the new iPhone 6 is available from O2 in an attractive special offer in combination with the O2 Blue All-in L. For 49,99 Euros it includes 3 gigabytes for high-speed fun surfing the web with up to 50 Mbit per second, as well as an all-net flat rate for calls and texts to all networks.
