Additional data volume and all you need for transactions is a mobile number

In addition to the standards of the mobile banking business, O2 Banking will from the very beginning offer unique benefits. Accounts can be opened within a few minutes – no more queuing up in the bank. Registration is made particularly easy with legitimation done via video call on your smartphone. To make transactions, all that will be required is the recipient’s mobile number listed in the personal address book. O2 Banking offers O2 customers a smart user-friendly alternative to traditional transactions via IBAN. Foremost, however, O2 customers will be rewarded with a modern currency. They receive additional high-speed data volume. Depending on the monthly card transaction volume and the use of O2 Banking as payroll account, the data bonus will be increased. During the trial phase and until the market launch in late summer 2016, O2 Banking will review different scales of volumes.
