MUNICH. The fourth and last winning crew has been determined: With more than 1,250 members, the "Party 2 The EMAs" is the biggest O2 crew so far - the Crew Captain can take 149 friends from the crew to experience the music event of the year in Berlin. There, the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) will take place on November 5 at the O2 World. During the past four weeks, Telefónica O2 Germany has awarded a total of 600 tickets on its platform O2 Crew.de. 150 tickets went out to those who founded an O2 Crew at www.o2crew.de and won the largest number of members within one week.
During the four-week campaign, more than 15,000 users registered at O2 Crew to get the much sought-after tickets. Four winners made it and can now take 149 friends each to the MTV EMAs. These four can now determine who will join them to the music event of the year. The most successful Crew Captains used creative means to win new members, e.g. videos on YouTube, links in the Social Web or even their own dedicated Web sites. Some prominent fans have registered at O2 Crew, too. Continuing after the MTV EMAs, www.o2crew.de will regularly offer more exclusive entertainment prizes.
