Neptune, god of the sea, and the clever raccoon explain the world of O2
MUNICH. Customer satisfaction is what all Telefónica Germany's activities focus on. This is the philosophy the company expresses in its new advertising campaign. From 10 January 2012 the protagonists Neptune, god of the sea, and his friend the raccoon will be inviting customers into the world of O2's ideas.
In a charming way the protagonists will be solving all kind of problems to the satisfaction of customers by TV spot, poster and online - invariably in the imaginative world of O2's ideas. They will be helping customers to find what is right for them. The key issues are freedom of contract and the multitude of products related to mobile phones and landline. For the first time the Alice landline products are being advertised under the O2 product brand.
"Neptune and the clever raccoon give a new face to the O2 brand. In a likeable way they explain the world of telecommunication and visualize the upmost customer satisfaction with O2", says Tim Alexander, Vice President Brand at Telefónica Germany. "The campaign is based on the annual customer monitor, where we with the O2 brand are at the top in the satisfaction category in 2011 among the four mobile network operators for the fifth time in a row." The 360-degree communication measures were developed and implemented by the lead agency VCCP together with Interone, Ogilvy One, Lambie Nairn, MEC Access, Phocus Brand Contact and Smartin Advertising Services. Zenith is responsible for media planning and media buying. Radical Media produced the TV spots under the direction of Joakim Reveman.
