Strong networks, low prices, high variety: Ten years after the merger of O₂ Telefónica and E-Plus on October 1, 2014, the range of services for mobile phone users in Germany has improved significantly.

O₂ Telefónica welcomes Lyca Mobile Germany as it’s newest partner on its mobile network. This further strengthens the company's position in the wholesale segment. Effective immediately, Lyca Mobile, one of the world's leading international mobile virtual network operators (MVNO), will offer its customers in Germany with mobile services via the high-performance network infrastructure of O₂ Telefónica.

Cloud services are a key tool for the digital transformation of business processes. The business customer brand o2 Business of the telecommunications company o2 Telefónica and Netskope, a leading provider of security service edge (SSE) technologies, will be working together in future. The partners offer companies in Germany a customisable security solution for cloud services.

O₂ Telefónica Deutschland and mobilezone have entered into a strategic partnership to reactivate the brand. With immediate effect, mobilezone will market postpaid tariffs at a very competitive price level under the well-known discount brand.

O₂’s private customers will now be able to book supplementary insurance using “O₂ Care”. The first instalment, “O₂ Care | Mobility”, launches on 7 August.

Revenue increased by 4.7 percent to 8.614 billion euros and the operating result OIBDA by 3.1 percent to 2.617 billion euros. The company thus exceeded its own expectations for the 2023 financial year in terms of both revenue and operating result OIBDA.
