A significant plus compared to last year: O₂ achieved the overall grade "very good" in this year's mobile operators hotline test of the German telco trade magazine "connect" and improved to "outstanding" in the category "accessibility "*.

On April 5, 2023, the mobile communications brand O₂ will pack more performance for a fair price into the new O₂ Mobile tariffs. In addition to higher data volumes and surfing speeds, new customers on the Gigabyte tariffs plans benefit above all from the Grow advantage.

The new prepaid portfolio of the mobile communications brand O₂ will be launched on April 5, 2023. New customers will then benefit from more service for a fair premium : they will receive up to 5.5 gigabytes more data volume and a surfing guarantee at a speed of 384 kbit/s.

The Prinzhorn Group, one of the leading paper and packaging manufacturers in Europe, and the telecommunications provider O₂ Telefónica in cooperation with the network operator Drei Österreich have set up a modern 5G campus network at the Pitten site in Austria.

The O₂ brand will launch a new mobile service under the name O₂ Mobile on April 5, 2023.
